Anonymous by design. Here's exactly what we keep.
What we store
The text of each take, its topic, votes, reports, timestamps and a randomly generated name. To stop spam and double voting we keep one-way hashes built from your connection and a private salt. Your raw IP address is never stored or shown.
Cookies
One session cookie remembers your votes so you can change them. Your light / dark choice is saved in your browser's local storage. Judge Mode keeps your score on your device only.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to count page views and see which pages are popular (approximate region, browser and device type). It is never used to identify who posted a take.
Removal
Takes are anonymous, so we can't verify who wrote one. If a take contains your personal information, use its report button and choose "Personal info about someone". It will be reviewed and removed.
