What is BoldOpinion?
BoldOpinion is a place to post anonymous hot takes and unpopular opinions. Anyone can post one in seconds and strangers vote Agree or Nah. There are no accounts, profiles or followers.
Do I need an account to post a hot take?
No. There is no sign-up and no login. Type your take, pick a topic and post it. Each take gets a random anonymous name like SpicyPigeon42.
Why can't I see the votes before I vote?
So you judge the take on its own. The Agree / Nah split appears as soon as you vote. You can tap "peek" if you really want to see it first.
What is Judge Mode?
Judge Mode shows one take at a time. Vote with the arrow keys or buttons, see how the crowd voted, and get a score for how often you side with the majority.
What is not allowed?
Hate, harassment, threats, personal information, sexual content, links, @handles and self-promotion. Takes with enough reports are hidden automatically and reviewed.
Is it really anonymous?
Yes. We never store your raw IP address. We keep a one-way hash to stop duplicate votes and spam bots. See the privacy page for details.
