What gets stored
Opinions, votes, reports, timestamps, category, a generated anonymous name, and anti-spam hashes.
What does not get shown
Raw IP addresses are not displayed or stored. The site uses hashed anti-spam signals with a private salt from the config file to reduce duplicate voting and bot posting.
Admin moderation
Reported opinions can be hidden, restored, or deleted from the simple admin area.
Analytics
BoldOpinion.io uses Google Analytics to understand basic site traffic such as page views, popular pages, approximate region, browser, and device type. We use this to improve the site. We do not use Google Analytics to identify anonymous opinion posters.
